Aaah...to chase my dreams

Growing up everyone new that i wanted to be a broadway star and encouraged me even though we all knew it wouldn't happen, due to the fact that I can't sing. Deep down I knew that I was a tad unrealistic so I had a back up extreme dream and this was to own a bakery. I enjoy baking cakes, so i decided to do a little experiment and bake a red velvet cake from scratch for Sam's birthday. I know it doesn't seem that impressive but those of you that know my cooking skills are probably thoroughly impressed. I suppose I am chasing my dreams, and I did a little singing while baking so I'm going after the broadway one as well. My dad is going to be real proud when he reads this :) It was really fun and it looks pretty good...not as good as my mom's though. We haven't tasted it though...yikes!
